Ensa L. Paruolo, 97, died Feb. 7, 2011, at Consulate Healthcare in Vero Beach.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach for five years, coming from Long Island, N.Y.
Before retirement, she was a head cook for the New York Telephone Co.
She was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church and the Telephone Pioneers Organization.
Survivors include her sons, Vincent Paruolo, of Clifton Park, N.Y., and John Paruolo, of Vero Beach; daughter, MaryAnn LaRocca, of Morganville, N.J.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 10 years, John Paruolo; and sister, Frances Vinci.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 2355 82nd Ave., Vero Beach, FL 32966.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 10 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach, with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m.
A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Feb. 11 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church.
