Jacqueline M. Carpenter, 81, died Feb. 2, 2011, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Albany, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach for 14 years, coming from her birthplace.
She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
She was a former member of the Quilters Guild of Vero Beach.
Survivors include her son, John H. Carpenter, of Albany; daughters, Kathleen M. Galletta, of Buffalo, N.Y., Cynthia M. Carpenter, of Norton, Ohio, and Janice A. Neubauer, of Vero Beach; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, John A. Carpenter.

Visitation will from 4 to 6 p.m. Feb. 4 at the Strunk Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Feb. 5 at St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach. Interment will be private.
