VERO BEACH — The German State Philharmonic (Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie) will perform in Vero Beach at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, February 5 at the Community Church of Vero Beach. Presented by the Indian River Symphonic Association, the concert will be conducted by the world-renowned conductor and pianist, Phillippe Entremont. Maestro Entremont will also perform as piano soloist for this concert. Entremont has directed the greatest symphony orchestras of Europe, Asia and America: Philadelphia, San Francisco, Detroit, Minnesota, Seattle, St. Louis, Houston, Dallas, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Montreal, the Academy of Saint Martin in the Fields and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to name a few.
The program for the evening will include:
R. Strauss – Till Eulenspiegels lutsige Streiche, TrV 171, Op. 28
Beethoven – Piano Concerto No. 1 in C Major, Op. 15
Brahms – Symphony No 4 in E Minor, Op. 98
