Film on Australia’s Deadliest Destinations offered Jan. 27

SEBASTIAN – The film “Australia’s Deadliest Destinations” will be shown by the Friends of the North Indian River County Library from 3 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the library meeting room.  Admission is free and open to the public. Australia is a land of extremes with harsh weather and terrain and more deadly creatures than anywhere on earth.  This film explores some of the most dangerous of Australia’s environments and the people who have learned to survive there.  Lethal jellyfish, hypothermia in Australia’s snowfields, saltwater crocodiles, and deadly snakes in the Outback are encountered on the various landscapes that can be found on earth’s largest island.

The North Indian River County Library is located at 1001 Sebastian Boulevard (C.R. 512), three miles west of U.S. 1 in Sebastian.
