Michael Asafaylo, 77, died Dec. 2, 2010, at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
He was born in Farrell, Pa.
Before retirement, he was a senior Allstate agent for 30 years.
He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War from 1952 to 1955.
He served in the Panama Canal Zone for two years, where he had guard duty and spent one year at Guantanamo Bay.
He was an airplane electrician on the USS Lake Champlain aircraft carrier for two years.
He received the National Defense Service Medal, Navy Occupation Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He graduated from Sharon High School in Sharon, Pa., in 1951.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Brenda J. Folds; children, Steven, Robin, Paul and Amy; stepchildren, Michelle, Kimberly and Robert; sister, Rosanna; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Dec. 4 at First Baptist Church, followed by a reception at noon.
