Museum’s Circle of Friends invites new members

VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Museum of Art is pleased to announce that its philanthropic group, Circle of Friends, will hold its first meeting for the new season on Wednesday, January 12 at 10:30 am in the Museum’s Holmes Great Hall. Interested women are invited to attend and learn more about this creative fundraising group’s program.

Circle of Friends, is comprised of 100 philanthropic women who contribute $250 each with the goal that the total amount will be gifted annually, by vote, to a Museum program of their collective majority choice.

Last season, Circle of Friends voted, at their final gathering in April, to contribute its inaugural gift of $15,250 in support the Artist in the Schools educational program. This year’s goal is $25,000.

This year the Circle of Friends group is co-chaired by Diane Wilhelm and Margaret Goembel. Committee members are Lyn Adams, Lee Albro, Leigh Bennett, Jackie Farrell, Pat Marquis, and Maya Peterson.

Members of the Vero Beach community are all invited to participate and contribute to this innovative giving circle. Participants need not be members of the Vero Beach Museum of Art to participate.
