Sheila W. Edwards, 89, died Oct.15, 2010, at Consulate Health Care of Vero Beach.
She was born in London and lived in Vero Beach for 22 years, coming from Lantana. Before retirement, she was payroll supervisor for J.F.K. Hospital in Lake Worth. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in education while in England. She attended Roseland United Methodist Church in Roseland.
Survivors include her sons, Andrew Edwards, of Suches, Ga., and Jonathan Edwards, of Raleigh, N.C.; daughters, Gillian Wu, of Toronto and Vivien J. Howle, of Sebastian; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Edwards; son, Timothy Edwards; and a grandhild. Memorial contributions may be made to: 3333 Forest Hill Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL 33406.
Burial will be private at Sebastian Cemetery, Sebastian.
A joint memorial service for Sheila and Joseph will be at 2 p.m. Dec. 27 at Strunk Funeral Home Chapel, Sebastian.
