VERO BEACH – The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County (HSVB & IRC) is teaming up with Macy’s this Saturday, October 16 for “Shop for a Cause.” This annual event in support of local nonprofit organizations allows shoppers to buy a $5 one-day Macy’s pass that entitles the holder to discounts of 10-25% on a variety of merchandise at any Macy’s store or online at www.macys.com.
Pass holders are also eligible to win a $500 Macy’s gift card. The best part – all proceeds from passes sold by the Humane Society will go directly to helping the animals of Indian River County.
“Shop for a Cause” passes may be purchased prior to the event at the Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County, located at 6230 77th Street, Vero Beach.
Passes are also available on the day of the event at the Humane Society table at the Macy’s entrance inside the Indian River Mall from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Macy’s at the Indian River Mall is located at 6200 20th Street, Vero Beach. Macy’s visitors can see animals available for adoption and meet the shelter’s mascot, Max the Loveable Mutt.
