Teeny Mae Woods, 99, died Aug. 27, 2010, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Madison County and lived in Indian River County for 85 years, coming from her birthplace. Before retirement, she was a citrus fruit packer at several Indian River County packing houses for 60 years. She was a charter member of Forest Park Baptist Church, Vero Beach.
Survivors include her sons, Arlie Woods and Lonnie Woods, both of Vero Beach; daughter, Anita Lane, of Melbourne; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Franklin “Bill” Woods; and sons, William Lowell Woods and Roger Sherman Woods.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Aug. 30 at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Aug. 31 at the funeral home with the Rev. Derrick West of First Baptist Church, Vero Beach, officiating. Interment will be in Winter Beach Cemetery, Winter Beach.
