SEBASTIAN — The Sebastian River Area Chamber of Commerce has invited all Candidates for the Indian River County Commission, District 2 and 4 seats to participate in a Candidates Forum beginning at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 12 at the City of Sebastian Council Chambers.
This forum will be open to the public and free. The forum will also be televised on the Sebastian government local channel 25 for the viewing public.
Candidates will be posed questions developed by business and community leaders from Fellsmere, Sebastian and North Indian River County. The forum is expected to focus mostly on issues that are important to north county residents.
The moderator for the evening will be Rene Van deVoorde, an attorney practicing in North Indian River County for over 25 years.
The Sebastian River Area Chamber of Commerce is a business organization, with over four hundred and fifty business members, representing approximately 2,000 employees in the area. The Chamber is dedicated to supporting business, promoting tourism and working on quality of life issues in the community.
