Margaret I. “Peggy” McLaughlin, 84, died Aug. 1, 2010, at her residence in Sebastian.
She was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and lived in Sebastian for 18 years coming from Newtown, Conn. She was a member of Saint Sebastian Catholic Church where she was a greeter and a member of the Senior Socialites.
Survivors include her son, John E. ” Jack” McLaughlin, Jr., of Akron, Ohio; daughters, Annette Hansen, of Gwynedd Valley, Pa., and Peggy Ann McLaughlin, of Bethel, Conn.; sister-in-law, Catherine Carroll, of Philadelphia, Pa.; grandchildren, Jim, Mike, Gretchen, Jack III, Erin, Kip, Megan, Annie; and great-grandchild, James.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. McLaughlin, Sr.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be made to Lupus Foundation of America, 75 Northeast Sixth Ave., #223, Delray Beach, FL 33483, in memory of Margaret McLaughlin.
Inurnment services will be planned at a later date.
