Jeanne Leroux Ringeisen died July 23, 2010. She was born Tulsa, Okla., June 27, 1928.
She attended The University of Tulsa and graduated from Garland College in Boston while working at Harvard Business School. Jeanne was one of the top ranked figure skaters in the country. She never had an opportunity chance to skate in the Olympics, as they were cancelled in 1944 due to World War II.
She was a feature writer for The Advertiser, a daily newspaper in Lafayette, La. She and her husband founded The Audiohouse Custom Electronics Design and Installation Company.
She was a member of the Republican Women’s Club of Indian River.
Jeanne is survived by three sons; Chet Ringeisen, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Hal Ringeisen, of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., and Brett Ringeisen, of Vero Beach; five grandchildren, Blake Ringeisen, Meredith Ringeisen, Kyle Ringeisen, Robert Ringeisen, Alyssa Ringeisen.
She was predeceased by her husband, Chester Ringeisen.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 31, at Strunk Funeral Home, 916 17th Street, Vero Beach at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach in her memory.
