INDIAN RIVER COUNTY – Fourth Street will be closed for two days starting Monday, Aug. 2, between 28th and 30th Avenues.
The Indian River County Road and Bridge Department will be making drainage improvements in the area.
Drivers will be rerouted around the closure starting at 7 a.m. Monday. The road is expected to reopen by 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Through-drivers will be asked to use 8th Street to get around the closure. Homeowners will have access their properties during the closure.
This is the second portion of Fourth Street to be closed for drainage work, following a 2-day closure between 27th Street and 28th Avenue that began July 27.
