VERO BEACH — Come out and enjoy a great Gospel Extravaganza at 5:00 pm, Saturday, July 3 at the Gifford Youth Activity Center. The event will be held in the GYAC Gym and there will be delicious fish or wings with fries for only $7 offered for all to enjoy.
There is no charge for the concert, but a “free will” offering will be collected and all proceeds will be used to support the elderly citizens who participate in the Beyond Special “K” program at the Gifford Youth Activity Center.
The Special “K” program was designed to be infused with plenty of fun-filled activities for the senior population. The focus is on the total development of individuals through aerobics, decision making skills, sewing and quilting, art and computer classes. The power of this innovative approach is unlimited. Special “K” provides an opportunity for nurturing an intergenerational interface between senior citizens and the youth at Gifford Youth Activity Center.
