Mary Alice Taylor, 74, died June 22, 2010, at VNA Hospice House.
She was born in Bowling Green and was a resident of Indian River County over 40 years, coming from Bowling Green. She was a faithful member of New Testament Baptist Church, Fort Pierce.
Survivors include her sons, Ollice V. Ervin of Vero Beach, Dwight L. Ervin of Gifford; daughters, Deborah Taylor-Long of Vero Beach, Alzada “Rommie” Robinson of Riverdale, Ga.; sister, Beatrice McIvery of Bowling Green; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carolyn Jackson, brother, Eugene Ervin; sisters, Grace Ervin, and Minnie Ervin.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. June 25 at Stone Brothers Funeral Chapel, Gifford. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. June 26 at First Church of God, Vero Beach.
