VERO BEACH — The Artists Guild Gallery proudly presents “Southern Exposure,” works by Gallery Member Dawn Mill of Vero Beach, on exhibit from July 1st to July 31st. An Opening Reception, which is free and open to the public, will be held Friday, July 9th, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Dawn Mill earned her BA at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, and studied art at Rollins College in Winter Park and at the Orlando Art Museum. She has also studied under many accomplished artists in numerous workshops and classes. Dawn is an art instructor at the Vero Beach Museum of Art and at the Artists Guild Gallery, and other venues in and around the Vero Beach area. She holds memberships in the Plein Air Painters of the Treasure Coast, the Vero Beach Museum of Art, the Cultural Council of Indian River County, and she serves on the Board of Directors of the Vero Beach Art Club. Dawn’s paintings have won numerous prizes, and her work resides in many collections around the U.S. and abroad.
A master of oils, acrylics and watercolor, Dawn can be found painting most days in her studio or outside “en plein air.” Not only is Dawn proficient in several mediums, but she is an accomplished artist of all subjects including portraiture. Dawn also tirelessly donates her time and talent to art-related projects which enhance the lives of people in Indian River County.
New works by other Gallery Artists and Consignors will also be on display in a vast array of styles and mediums, including sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, pottery, glass and prints.
The Gallery is located at 1974 14th Avenue in Vero Beach, and summer hours are Tuesday through Friday 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
