Arlene Caroline Morales, 67, Vero Beach

Arlene Caroline Morales, 67, died June 5, 2010, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.

She was born in Plainfield, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach for 54 years, coming from her birthplace. She worked with her parents at the Tower Restaurant in the 1960s and later owned and operated Westside Beanery and Town and Country Catering in Vero Beach with her husband for 28 years.

She also worked at Oslo Middle School cafeteria and then at the extended day care at Citrus Elementary.

She graduated from Vero Beach High School in 1960.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, George Morales Jr. of Vero Beach; daughter, Rosemary Gray of Vero Beach; sons, Howard Williams of New Market, Md., George Morales III of Melbourne, Dean Morales of Vero Beach and Gary Morales of Fellsmere; brothers, Dom Concilio and Richard Concilio, both of Vero Beach; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dominic and Rose Concilio.
