Marine Bank to host Blood Drive

VERO BEACH – To kick off the Memorial Day weekend, the Marine Bank office on 1450 U.S. Highway 1 will host a Blood Drive from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, May 28,

Appointments are being taken for those who like to plan ahead.  Donators will receive a free beach blanket and the opportunity to save a life.

Fact: Shelf life of donated blood lasts 42 days.

Fact: All donated blood stays in Indian River County

Restrictions: Donations cannot be accepted from those who have donated blood in the 56 days leading up to the event.  Must be at least 16 years of age (with a parent’s consent) and must weight at least 110 pounds.
