Loretta C. Boucher, 88, died May 12, 2010, in Vero Beach. She was born in New York City, attended schools in New York and lived in Danbury, Conn., for many years. Before retiring to Florida, she was a bank teller. She also worked at Electric Heat and Appliance Co. of Danbury and taught religious education at St. Joseph Church, Danbury, where she was a past leader of the Ladies Guild. She also spent many years in charge of a booth at the former Danbury State Fair. In Florida, she was secretary of Countryside at Vero Beach. Survivors include her daughter, Mary McCue of Wingdale, N.Y. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Boucher; son, Michael Boucher; and brother, Jack Toucher. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. May 16 at Green Funeral Home, Danbury. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. May 17 at St. Joseph Church, Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
