Chris McDaniel, 62, died May 1, 2010, at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Augusta, Ga.
He was born in Macon, Ga., and lived in Sebastian for 25 years before moving to Waynesboro, Ga., in 1990.
He was a combat Marine veteran in Vietnam and was the recipient of a Purple Heart. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Augusta and a former member of the American Legion.
Survivors include his brother, Paul Glynn McDaniel of Barefoot Bay; and twin sister, Carol Crisp of Sebastian.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. May 10 at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. May 11 in the Strunk Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. William Ruehman Jr. officiating.
A graveside service with military honors will be conducted at 1 p.m. May 11 at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth.
