Paul Albrecht, 77, Vero Beach

Paul Albrecht, 77, died May 1, 2010.

He was born in Elma, N.Y., and lived in Florida since 1945, coming from Buffalo, N.Y. He attended Vero Beach High School and Southeastern Bible College in Lakeland.

He established Albrecht Painting and Decorating Inc. He was a charter member of Vero Beach’s First Assembly of God, and he helped relocate and build Treasure Coast Cathedral. He was a member of Gideon’s International for many years.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Priscilla Morris Albrecht; daughter, Jacquelyn A. Baldwin of Lakeland; son, Michael C. Albrecht of Vero Beach; sisters, Lovina Taber and Ruth McCloud, both of Vero Beach, Esther Grant of Melbourne and Martha Kry of Bushnell; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Emmanuel, Bill, John, Dave and Erve; and sisters, Marion Holland, Clara Roll and Ann Walker.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. May 5 at Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
