Missing pot? Sheriff’s Office finds, destroys 17 baggies in Gifford

GIFFORD — Someone in the Gifford area might be missing his or her marijuana after dropping it along 45th Street over the weekend, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

A deputy on foot patrol along the 3000 block of 45th Street in Gifford in the early morning hours of Sunday found a large bag containing 17 individual baggies of marijuana.

The deputy collected the bag and determined it contained 22.5 grams of marijuana before submitting it to evidence for destruction, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Without a suspect or witness, the deputy could not continue an investigation into the case of the discarded pot.
