Mark S. Sanford, 76, died April 18, 2010, at the University of Florida Shands Hospital, Gainesville.
He was born in East Liverpool, Ohio, and lived in Wildwood, coming from Vero Beach.
His career was in construction and condominium maintenance management and as a handyman. He served honorably in the Air Force from 1954 to ’58.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Murphy Sanford of Vero Beach; sons, Jeff Sanford of Rockledge, M. Andrew Sanford of Vero Beach; brothers, Frank Sanford of Winter Haven, Alvin Sanford of New Smyrna Beach, Keith Sanford of Fulton, N.Y., Arnold Sanford of Lisbon, Ohio; sisters, Dorothy Mooney of East Liverpool, Ohio, Martha Wells of Barnesville, Ohio and Mildred Merkow of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and companion, Maureen Castle of Wildwood.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Blaine Sanford and George Sanford; and sister, Arita Dunlevy.
