Everett L. Cook, 84, died April 14, 2010 at Royal Palm Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Vero Beach.
He was born in Judith Gap, Mont., Aug. 21, 1925. He grew up in Independence, Mo.
He was in the Army Air Core 505th Division during World War II. He was a tail gunman on the B29’s and flew 25 missions over Japan.
He received a degree in Agriculture at the University of Missouri and earned a degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State College, Ames, Iowa.
He married Jennie Ellen Hargis in Des Moines, Iowa Dec. 30, 1951.
He was an avid fisherman & hunter. He had a dairy practice in Greenwood, Wisc., for 40 years. He retired in 1992 and moved with his wife to Sebastian.
Survivors include his wife Jennie of a little over 58 years; a sister, Grace Borgmeyer (Kansas City); sister-in-law, Alene Cook (Omaha, Neb.); 13 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis & Mary Cook, his brother, Arthur.
There will be no services.
