Important street closure notice for Hibiscus Festival

VERO BEACH — Organizers of the Hibiscus Festival on Saturday, April 17 have announced street closure information for all drivers and area businesses that may be affected.

Friday, April 16 – No overnight parking will be allowed on the following streets:

14th Avenue from 20th to 23rd Streets

22nd Avenue from 15th Avenue to 14th Avenue

Alley way next to Courthouse Executive Center

21st Street from 13th Avenue to 15th Avenue

Saturday, April 17

14th Avenue from 20th Street to 21st Street (known as the Downtown Friday block) closed from 6 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. for setting up and holding the 60’s Street Party featuring a Beatles Tribute Band

22nd Street, next to the Hibiscus Building, will be closed from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

14th Avenue from 21st Street to 23rd Street will be closed from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

21st Street, between 13th and 15th Avenues (east and west ending just before Vero Furniture Mart) will be closed from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Parking of automobiles is not allowed on any of these streets please.

Special Notes:

No pedestrian traffic will be allowed on 14th Avenue between 20th and 21st Streets unless needing access to shop or dine at the shops and restaurants in that block.

Admission is $2 to the 60’s Street Party.  Entrance will begin at 5 p.m. through gates only; from the south-one gate from 20th Street and from the north-two gates from 21st Street
