Helen Kilcommons, Vero Beach

Helen Kilcommons died Feb. 9, 2010, at VNA Hospice, Vero Beach.

She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach for eight years, coming from Cornwall, N.Y. Before retirement, she was employed by Arnold Constable Clothing in Hempstead, N.Y.

She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach.

Survivors include daughters, Maureen Barnett of Rockville Center, N.Y., Joanne Jennings of Vero Beach, Sharon Coffey of Scottsdale, Ariz. and Tara Arbia of New Windsor, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Martin Kilcommons.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Feb. 19 at St. Brigid Catholic Church, Westbury, N.Y.

Interment will follow in Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury. Arrangements are by Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
