INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Gifford Youth Activity Center’s motto is “Combining Education With Recreation.” GYAC is sensitive to the economic stress affecting many families with school age children. Effective immediately, the program fees have been reduced to allow parents to enroll or keep their children at Gifford Youth Activity Center. The new monthly fees are 1 child=$17.50, 2 children =$30, 3 children =$37.50 and 4-5 children +$45. The fee reduction will be in place until June 9th. The After School Program is the cornerstone and flagship program of GYAC. Our charge is to help every child to be the best that they can be. If a child needs academic help or parents would like their child to have educational enrichment; there are openings for students from K thru 12th grade. Please call or come in person to learn more about what is being offered in each age group. The program will continue to accept applications on a first come first served basis until classrooms are filled. Keep in mind that no child will be turned away because of the inability to pay. We are here to serve our children. The Gifford Youth Activity Center is a United Way Agency, located at 4875 43rd Avenue in Vero Beach.
