VERO BEACH — Vero Beach personalities Chris Foster and Mark Wygonik of FW Productions specialize in creating and producing original shows for casino showrooms in the Bahamas, Las Vegas and nationwide. They will bring their Vegas-style show Jambalaya, as well as their production team from Cirque du Soleil, to Vero Beach for one show only, 8 p.m. March 12, at the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center.
Foster wrote Jambalaya, which emphasizes dance, music, vocals, visual spectacle and aerial acrobatics. The music is an electric fusion of African, Latin and French influences. Jambalaya was first performed in the Rain Forest Theater at the Wyndham Hotel/Crystal Palace Casino in Nassau and features an internationally-acclaimed cast of singers, dancers, and aerialists. The cast also includes six local dancers, who are currently receiving intensive training, sponsored by FW Productions, with the best dance coaches in Los Angeles.
“A number of our cast members have been seen in music videos, have performed on the stage with such artists as Paul McCartney, Pink and Cher, and are in the new hit series Glee,” says Foster.
Mindful of giving back to their community, Foster and Wygonik will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Cultural Council of Indian River County, and the Vero Beach High School Choral Department. Wygonik says, “as a 1976 graduate of VBHS, I am thrilled to be able to give back to my alma mater.”
Tickets are $25 – $50.
