Pauline N. Cox, 86, died Feb. 9, 2010, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
She was born in Akron, Ohio, and lived in Sebastian for 22 years, coming from Silver Lake, Ohio. Before retirement, she worked for 18 years as a sales clerk for O’Neil’s Department Store and five years as a riveter and assembler for Goodyear Aircraft, both in Akron.
She was a member of Roseland United Methodist Church and the Christian Women’s Club. She enjoyed volunteering at Sebastian River Medical Center.
Survivors include her son, Ralph H. Cox of Suffield, Ohio; daughters, Pamela Wilkerson of Weston, and Genevieve Rosenberg of Skokie, Ill.; sister, Lucy Davis of Baldwin Park, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph H. Cox Sr.; and granddaughter, Holly Cox.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 11 at Roseland United Methodist Church, Roseland, with the Rev. Anne Godbold officiating.
