Eugene Leonard Altman, 82, died Jan. 27, 2010, at Palm Garden of Vero Beach.
He was born in St. Paul, Minn., and lived in Vero Beach for six years, coming from Shakopee, Minn. Before retirement, he worked for Colwell Press and Viking Press in Minneapolis.
He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church, where he was a member of Bible Study, the men’s discussion group and the charismatic prayer group. He was a member of Toastmasters in Minneapolis.
Survivors include his wife, DuAnn Altman of Vero Beach; sons, David Altman of St. Paul, Tom Altman of Shakopee and Alan Altman of Fresno, Calif.; daughters, Ann Altman of Cocoa and Jane Ziebart of Santa Ana, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated 2 p.m. Jan. 30 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jordan, Minn.
