INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Friends of Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute at FAU have scheduled a number of events:
Feb. 4 – Green Tour to USDA.
Learn first hand how USDA scientists are working to protect and improve Florida horticulture through research and experimentation. Tour will begin at 10:30 AM followed with a picnic style luncheon. Feb. 15 – Boat trip and National Navy SEAL Museum tour.
Enjoy a unique boat cruise on the Lagoon combined with a personal tour of the UDT Museum. Boat will depart from the Johnson Ed Center at 10:00 AM. Picnic lunch included. Cost: Members-$55; Nonmembers-$65

Feb. 16 – Special Program on the Galapagos Islands
7:00 PM at Johnson Education Center, Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute at FAU. Guest Speaker: Dr. Lynn Fowler with Lindblad Tours. Program is open to all.

April 16-17 – Overnight at Quail Creek Plantation.
Spend the night in a new cabin and experience early-morning and late-afternoon wildlife tours with Audubon Warden, Chop Lege. Following a delicious home-cooked mean at Quail Creek Lodge, gather around the campfire for storytelling and camaraderie. Cost: $195 for members; $225 for nonmembers.
