Driving up to the Humane Society to visually capture their newest guest, a 9 ½ foot python, my thoughts from the movie “Anaconda” were only diverted by the newest NASA project being propelled from Earth.
I thought to myself, I’m not afraid of snakes, never really have been from being a Boy Scout and growing up in Indiana.
But, the closer I got the more anxious I got.
It didn’t turn out to be as big as I had imagined as Bruce Dangerfield, an animal control officer for the Vero Beach Police Department, took it out of the bag.
Unlike in the movie though, no one was eaten, but the day did end well with the capture of this invasive species.
