“A Bottle Shock Wine Tasting” at VBMA Oct. 8

VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Museum of Art’s Art After Dark events are the coolest after work gatherings for young professionals in Vero Beach. Mark your calendar for the next Contemporaries’ Art After Dark “A Bottle Shock Wine Tasting” 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8.  Based on the movie Bottle Shock the next Art After Dark will feature a blind wine tasting contest, organized by Kelly Brown of PRP Wine International, Inc., “pitting” boutique wines of California against those of Europe. Which wines will win? You be the judge! Come dressed in California casual or European chic. At just $10 per person, it’s the best night out in Vero Beach for the young set – singles and couples alike. Enjoy your first drink on-the-house, additional drinks are $1 each. The event also celebrates the exhibition Rooted In Tradition: Art Quilts from the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum which will be open in the Holmes Gallery during the evening.

The Contemporaries are comprised of young professionals who enjoy lively parties and meeting new people in the Museum’s unique setting. You can also join the Contemporaries or Art Venture membership program. When you become a member of the Contemporaries or the Museum’s business membership Art Venture you will receive many special benefits, including complimentary admission to every Art After Dark event.
