SEBASTIAN INLET — At approximately 1:45 p.m., a 20-foot boat capsized just north of the jetty at the Sebastian Inlet State Park.Four people were on board, three of whom were thrown into the current and rescued by another boater in a yellow, 18-foot vessel. The fourth passenger was reportedly still clinging to the sinking boat with rescue crews on the way.The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission and the Brevard County Fire Department have taken the lead on this rescue. Indian River County firefighters, a helicopter and a marine unit were dispatched but recalled when the report came in that the three passengers had been rescued by a good Samaritan.All four passengers reportedly were wearing their life jackets.No further details are known at this time.
