Richard Alan Solsberry, 59, died July 31, 2009, at Vero Beach Hospice House. He was born in Independence, Mo.
He attended Southwest Baptist College in Bolivar, Mo., and William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo. He was a salesman for Kraft Foods and Nexxus hair supplies. He also was manager of Indian River Ace Hardware in Vero Beach and most recently was in management with Publix.
Survivors include his sons, Richard Brian Solsberry, of Sugarland, Texas, Daniel Clarke Solsberry, of Arlington, Va., and Michael Alan Solsberry, of Potsdam, N.Y.; sister, Victoria Solsberry, of Arlington, Va.; brother, David Eugene Solsberry, of Kennesaw, Ga.; parents, Gene and Kay Solsberry, of Vero Beach; and special lifelong friend, Larry White, of Palm Coast.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association Hospice House, 901 37th St., Vero Beach, FL 32960.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 21 at the First Church of God, Vero Beach.
