Robert “Bubba” A. Ulrich, 61, of Vero Beach, died Wednesday, June 17, 2009, at his home. Mr. Ulrich was born Jan. 20, 1948, in Glen Echo, Md., and moved to Vero Beach eight years ago from Ft. Lauderdale. He was a self-employed Master Carpenter for 40 years. He was of the Episcopal faith, a fire-medic at the Glen Echo Fire Department and a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Army.Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Linda Ulrich, of Vero Beach; daughter, Katie Ulrich, of Vero Beach; sons, Charles Ulrich, of Vero Beach, Logan Ulrich, of Vero Beach, and Jake Ulrich, of Melbourne; mother, Claire Ulrich, of Sebring; sister, Susan Morrow, of Ft. Lauderdale; a grandson; and many nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by his brother, Charles Ulrich; and father, Irvin Ulrich.The family will receive friends 5 – 7 p.m. Sunday, June 21, at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.Memorial contributions may be made to the Care to Share Fund at Indian River Medical Center, 1000 36th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960.Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach, Florida.
