2nd Annual 4th of July Boat Parade
July 4, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
FreeFORT PIERCE (St. Lucie County), FL—The 2nd Annual Fourth of July Boat Parade will be held on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. The parade is open to the public, and all boats (large and small) are welcome to participate. There is no fee to enter your boat. To participate, decorate your boat in patriotic red, white and blue then meet up with other boats in the Ft. Pierce turning basin at 11:30 a.m. Boaters will line up behind the Ft. Pierce Yacht Club lead boat (sailing vessel Grace). The parade starts at 12:00 noon. Boats will use channel 72 to communicate during the parade. The parade of patriotic boats will head East up the Inlet to the Square Grouper then turn back, heading back into the basin, then turn North and head out past the City Marina where they will disperse.
All participants are invited to the yacht club as special guests of our members for a 4th of July celebration. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. with cocktails available. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. ($12.00 per person), which includes grilled chicken, corn-on-the-cob, southern side dishes, and dessert. All participants are welcome to stay and have a direct waterfront seat to watch the fireworks at 9:00 p.m.
