ROSELAND — Sheriff’s detectives were investigating the discovery of a body Tuesday.
Indian River County sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of the body being found about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 8100 block of 130th Street in Roseland, west of U.S. 1. Sheriff’s officials said the death of the unidentified person may be a drug overdose.
Few details about the incident were available.
It was unclear whether the body was found outside or inside a residence. It was also unknown how long the remains had been in the location.
Motorists saw several sheriff’s patrol cars and a crime scene van in the area Tuesday. More details will be released when they become available.
