Carl D. Anderson, 80, Sebastian

Carl D. Anderson, 80, of Sebastian, was born Sept. 19, 1939, in Casey, Ill., and was the son of the late Ernie and Inez Gilbert Anderson. Carl passed away on March 13, 2020.

He was a veteran of the US Navy having served aboard the USS Valley Forge.

Carl worked for AT&T as a Supervisor having retired in 1990.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Mary Jane; son, Brian (Laura), of New Fairfield, Ct.; daughter, Susan (Mick), of Danbury, Ct.; son, Glenn, of Groton, Ct.; five grandchildren; sisters, Marcella Finney, of Casey, Ill., and Sharon Said (Joe), of Gaffney, S. Ca.; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

He was predeceased by brothers, Gary and Timothy.

He was a member of Sebastian Christian Church and the Sebastian Men’s Golf Association.

At the request of the family services will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to, American Heart Association, 10 Glenlake Parkway NE South Tower, Suite 400, Atlanta, GA 30328 in memory of Cal D. Anderson.

Lucille C. Farmer, 79, Sebastian

Lucille C. Farmer, 79, of Sebastian, passed peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, with her family at her side.

Lucille was one of 14 children born to the late Oliver and Belle Hunter on Nov. 26, 1940, in Vero Beach.

She married Royce Farmer Sr. and moved to Baconton, Ga., where she had one son. She married David Wynn Sr. in 1957 and they had boys and 1 girl.

She was the co-owner of Farmer Trampolines in Puntey, Ga., where she enjoyed sewing. She loved growing all types of plants and flowers. Beside gardening she enjoyed her family and fishing. She enjoyed being by the river that was her relaxation place.

Lucille is survived by her children David (Lori) Wynn Jr., of Palm Bay, John (Ola Mae) Wynn, Billy (Lynne) Wynn, Bobby (Kay) Wynn, of Okeechobee, Tracey (Mike) Cragin and Royce (Dionna) Farmer Jr., of Sebastian. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Leukemia Cancer.

Per her wishes there will be no service and no Celebration of Life. Her children and grandchildren will spread her ashes together.

Ralph Merolla, 88, Vero Beach

Ralph Merolla, 88, of Vero Beach, passed away March 13, 2020. Born March 4, 1932, in Sessa Aurunca, Italy, he was the son of the late Guiseppi Merolla and Marie Jicoccio Merolla.

Mr. Merolla was a member of the Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Providence, R.I.

He retired from Universal Optical in the early 1990s after 30-plus years of service.

Ralph enjoyed working in his vegetable garden. He was also known for his homemade wine.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Frank and Antonio.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Susie Passaretti Merolla; daughters, Elizabeth Lisi and Suesan Simone (husband, Kenneth); son, Ralph Merolla, Jr.; brother, Armondo Merolla; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
