INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Deputies want the public to be alert of a 39-year-old man they described as armed and dangerous.

Indian River County deputies said Otthoniel Torres Jr. is wanted for possession of a firearm, ammunition and electric or concealed weapon by a prohibited person. Torres, of the 8000 block of Westfield Circle, Vero Beach, is out on bond from a previous unrelated charge.
A warrant was issued for his arrest three days after his release, jail records show. Anyone who sees Torres should not approach him.

Deputies said they learned that Torres has a private vehicle, a white Dodge Charger, that may look like an undercover sheriff’s vehicle. Anyone who has came into contact with Torres or the vehicle should contact sheriff’s Deputy Kristoffer Skovsgard at 772-978-6047 or the sheriff’s office at 772-978-6240.
