The Indian River County Recreation Department is now recruiting volunteers for the Special Olympics Area Games held at the North County Aquatic Center on Saturday Aug. 19 and Sunday Aug. 20.
The volunteer hours will be from 8:15 a.m. – 2 p.m. both days. The department is looking for 60 volunteers who will help with staging athletes, timing and awards.
