Center for Spiritual Care celebrates 13th anniversary

VERO BEACH —  When first entering the Center for Spiritual Care in downtown Vero Beach, one immediately feels a sense of peace, a haven, a safe place where one can go and not be judged or turned away because of his or her religious beliefs.

Inaugurated in October 2000, the Center for Spiritual Care is a modest organization operating on a modest budget. It strives to help people from all walks of life.

It serves people who have, for example, experienced a divorce, lost someone through death, lost a job, or who are seeking meaning and direction in their lives.

The Center operates beyond traditional boundaries of religious denominations. People of all beliefs and none are welcome at the Center for Spiritual Care.

The Center is a non-profit organization staffed entirely by volunteers, including the executive director and its Board members.

The Center is undergoing a transformation, designing new programs and services.

Presently, all courses are held at the Center for Spiritual Care in downtown Vero Beach.
