Senior Resource Association welcomes new Development Director

VERO BEACH —  The Senior Resource Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Carrie Biggers as the new Director of Development. She joins SRA after serving for three years as Director of Institutional Advancement at St. Andrew’s Academy in Fort Pierce.

Ms. Biggers’ new duties for SRA will include achieving the organization’s fundraising goals and plans. Specifically, she will manage special events, donor recognition and stewardship, corporate support, and planned giving.

“I am really excited about working for SRA. I hope to bring my experience of fundraising and raise awareness for supporting older adults in our community,” explained Ms. Biggers.

The Senior Resource Association (SRA) was incorporated as a nonprofit organization in January 1974 to provide programs and services designed to promote an active, healthy, independent lifestyle for older adults.

SRA provides recreational, cultural, and educational programs for active older adults, assists seniors and their families in finding resources, and delivers quality, professional services that meet a senior’s individual needs.
