Treasure Coast Music Festival to entertain at Fairgrounds

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Indian River Fairgrounds, 7955 58th Ave in Vero Beach, will come to life as the annual Treasure Coast Music Festival, a three day outdoor multi-stage event featuring a wide variety of music styles presented by Under the Sun Promotions the weekend of Sept. 23 – 25. The entertainment includes a lineup of great music entertainment, including country, rock, Christian rock, oldies, metal and alternative bands.

The fun begins Friday with none other than the legendary Bad Company former lead singer Brian Howe. Howe made his name in the mid-1980s with a string of successful Bad Company albums is back with a new solo album. He will appear for a “one night only” performance on the Main Stage to kick off this year’s festivities.

On Saturday, original band members Peter Beckett and Ronn Moss of the legendary group Player, best known for their classic number one hit, “Baby Come Back,” are back together again to record new music and perform live.

Pat Travers will entertain on the Main stage Sunday. Travers’ critically acclaimed 1976 debut album featured his own brand of high quality seventies guitar rock and roll. He went on to deliver melodic eighties rock, a blues period in the nineties, performances with various power trio’s in the new Millennium, and a full blooded return to the trademark Pat Travers Band sound as he entered his fifth performing and recording decade.

Other notable music performers appearing at the festival include Ever So Klever, 3rd Stone, VK Lynne, Suite Caroline, Amber Leigh, Scott Lindsey, Passerine and many more.

A motorcycle show will be held beginning at Noon Sunday, Sept. 25. There is no fee to enter your motorcycle; general admission applies for riders and passengers. Trophies will be given for best of show, first and second runner up, and best Shovelhead.
