INDIAN RIVER COUNTY – Dyer Chevrolet and Dyer Mazda Subaru are pleased to announce the 34th recipient of the Dyer Difference Award – the American Red Cross.
This award salutes a non-profit organization in Indian River County that is truly making a difference in our community.
Dyer Chevrolet and Dyer Mazda Subaru presented the Dyer Difference Award along with a $3,000 check to the recipient, North Treasure Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross in support of their Annual “Steve’s Ride”.
Each year WPTV’s Channel 5 weatherman, Steve Weagle, rides from Boca Raton to Sebastian on his bicycle stopping at sponsors of the event to raise awareness of the start of Hurricane season.
“This is our fourth year sponsoring this event. The American Red Cross counts on the support of others to help those in their time of need. We are happy to continue supporting our local chapter,” Tatiana Dyer said.
