Robert Charles Richter Jr., 74, died June 22, 2010, at his home.
He was born in Derby, Conn., and lived in Sebastian for 22 years, coming from Seymour, Conn.
He graduated from Connecticut School of Electronics. He served in the Army for three years. He owned and operated Tristate Audio/Visual Equipment in Branford, Conn.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Annie Miserez Richter of Sebastian; sons, Robert C. Richter III of Belgrade, Maine, Kenneth A. Richter of Oxford, Conn; daughters, Laurie A. Gittings of Seymour, Conn., Karen E. Johnson of Palm Bay; brother, William A. Richter of Oxford, Conn.; sisters, Shirby Strang of Derby, Conn., Karen Coppola of Orange, Conn.; and nine grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at Great Hill United Methodist Church, Seymour, Conn. Burial in Great Meadows Cemetery, Seymour, Conn.
