North County Aquatic Center to host Police, Fire swim meet June 23

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Indian River County Parks & Recreation Department announces that the Florida Police and Fire Games are coming to Indian River County. This will be the fourth time the county has hosted events that draw competitors from 130 different agencies from around the state of Florida.

The Police and Fire games swim meet is scheduled for Wednesday, June 23, at the North County Aquatic Center, 9450 95th St., Sebastian. The swim meet will start at 11 a.m. and spectators from the community are encouraged to come out and watch the event.

 

Admission is free and open to the public. The games will have 36 teams from all over the State of Florida with over 200 competitors.

The competition pool will be open to the public with limited lanes. The Activity pool will be open to the public from noon to 5 p.m.

The Florida Police and Fire Games run June 21 and run through June 26 at various venues, including the North County Aquatic Center, Indian River County Shooting Range, Vero Beach Sports Village, Pointe West, Sebastian River High School and Riverside Park.
