Golfers tee off for Senior Resources

VERO BEACH — The second annual SRA Senior Legacy Golf Tournament brought out golfers of all ages and skill levels to the Bent Pine Golf Club for a day of golf followed by a awards party and auction.

The event was sponsored by George E. Warren Corporation and Wellmed and tee sponsors included Smith Heating and Air; HR Dynamics; Attorney G. Russell Peterson; Bank Atlantic; Embroid Me; Michele Ritchie of Peters Cook Real Estate; Vatland Honda; Dwellings; Joseph Tanacs Interior; Mark’s at the Pointe Salon & Boutique; Wellcare; Lightsource Business; Countryside Citrus; Enterprise Leasing; Tom Nelson of Merrill Lynch; Proctor Construction; Gould, Cooksey, Fennell, P.A.; and New Vision Eye Center. Vero Marine Center is sponsored the hole-in-one.

Funds raised will go towards The Senior Resource Association activities, education and services for seniors throughout Indian River County.  Some of its programs and services include Meals on Wheels, Adult Day Care, and Senior Center activities.
