Jazz concert at Vero Beach High School

VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Department presents “It Might as Well be Swing” Jazz Concert on Tuesday, February 2 at 7:00 pm in the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center.

Made popular by Frank Sinatra’s collaboration with the Count Basie Orchestra, this evening of Jazz will also pay tribute to Louis Armstrong, Benny Goodman, Woody Herman, Glenn Miller and Duke Ellington, among other Big Band Greats. Featuring the VBHS Jazz Band, the performance will be led by Mr. James Sammons and Mr. Page Howell. In addition, the Storm Grove Middle School Jazz Band under the direction of Sean Srigley and the Oslo Middle School Jazz Band under the direction of Luke Hall will perform.

Tickets are only $10 for the Upper Mezzanine level and $12 for the Lower Orchestra level.  Call the Box Office at 772-564-5537 to reserve your seats.
