Robert L. Di Santi, 77, of Vero Beach, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.Mr. Di Santi was born November 25, 1931 in Brooklyn, N.Y. and moved to Vero Beach in 1998 from Sag Harbour, N.Y. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Clarkson University in New Paultz, N.Y. and was Vice President of Finance for Tampax Co.. After retiring he became the owner of Noyac Hardware Store in Noyac, N.Y. Mr. Di Santi served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He was a member of the Lions Club in Sag Harbor, N.Y., the South Fork Golf Club in New York, the Sea Cliff Yacht Club in New York, the Wheatly Hills Golf Club in New York and the Indian River Golf Club in Vero Beach. Mr. Di Santi was also a volunteer at Thompson Magnet School in Vero Beach.Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Sally Di Santi of Vero Beach; son Mark Di Santi of Sea Cliff, N.Y.; and two granddaughters. A Prayer service will be held 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Chapel in Vero Beach.Memorial contributions may be made to VNA/Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, Fl 32960.
